After a year of being largely housebound with your, er, household, we want to make sure that you're soaking up every inch of the party! So chop, marinate and organise everything you can before your guests arrive, and all that is left to do is grill, gossip and celebrate socialisation!
To minimise fuss, germs and the need to clear away, (just this once) consider disposable plates and cutlery.
Make sure you've got all the tools (BBQ utensils, bottle openers, apron, glasses) outside ready to use before your guests arrive.
And finally, do a thorough weather check the day before, so you have the gazebo ready for rain, or hopefully, the sun-cream ready for some bank holiday rays! Don't be fooled though, those sunny days quickly progress into nippy nights this time of year, so whilst you're waiting for your firepit to get going, make sure you have the blankets ready!
